I only recently started reading blogs. It all started innocently enough when I clicked through a link posted by my friend, ty slothrop, on a lawyer board that we both frequent. He had a link to a blog entry of Heather B. Armstrong's (aka dooce) and I was fascinated by this whole blogging world.
(Yes, I am about 5 years behind the blogging curve, but I still think that it is rude of you to point that out to me.)
So bit by bit I've been reading past blog entries of Ms. Armstrong. And today I came across this gem, which she wrote on her way out of Los Angeles, my newly adopted home:
