Last Saturday I spent the day in Santa Barbara with my friend Hope at a photography workshop. It wasn't particularly well-run or informative, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. And we have a pretty funny story about nearly missing the train, getting yelled at by the conductor and finally making friends with the quirky assistant conductor.
If you couldn't tell, my favorite part was playing around with Hope's new macro lens. Something to add to my wish list.

I think those are my three favorites of your photos, too. You have such an eye for "other" and finding interesting things and finding beauty in them. I like your quirky vision.
