Floating

Mike is sometimes a man of few words. And he's not one to throw around compliments willy nilly (though I do get "you look cute" from him quite often, it is only when I do, in fact, look cute*). So imagine my surprise when last night he turned to me and said, out of the blue, that I should write a book because I have a great writing style that is very engaging to the reader.

Better than a dozen roses. What a nice thing to say! I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge quite yet, but who knows what the future could hold?

*Which must be often. Hopefully I'm using the whole transitive property equation thing correctly, G.

As long as it's not a vomitous, "You're cute," "No, YOU'RE cute!" "You write well." "No, YOU do!" "You hang up first, schmoopie," type book, that sounds cool.

That is a pretty damn hot compliment.

Also, you are quite cute.

You got the transitive thing right, I think. Whee!
